THE FACTORY
The Factory is perfectly situated at the most central rowing venue in South African rowing, and is easily accessible to all Johannesburg and Pretoria rowing clubs. We are situated on the same property as the Johannesburg Canoe Club, Wemmer Pan Rowing Club, Vikings, WITS, Old Eds Boat Club, Mondeor high school, Gauteng Rowing Association, KES and Parktown Boys high school.
Our workshop is spacious with numerous boat racks available for the safe-keeping of rowing equipment whilst in for repairs, and is very secure as well as being insured for equipment being stored within the shed.
Having the dam on our front doorstep means that customers are able to test drive equipment once purchased or repaired should they so desire.
The grounds have secure rowing trailer parking facilities, so customers are able to unhitch trailers with rowing equipment that has been brought in for repairs, and then collect them and their repaired equipment once complete (this for limited periods due to WPAC regulations).

Map Directions
Drive South on Rosettenville/Turf rd towards Wemmer Pan/Turffontein Race Course (closest offramp from M2 East is Mooi Street). Pass Santarama Miniland on LHS (at the Turf/Marlborough intersection). Drive another 300 meters and look out for a palisade fence on the LHS. Turn left at start of Palisade fence, at signs for Heated Swimming Pool and Wemmer Pan Aquatic Clubs. If you pass the Transport Museum (LHS) and Rand Stadium (RHS), you have overshot the turning. Drive 50meters, Macarbi Racing is on the LHS in the rowing and canoeing section.
